"I was introduced to Torey's class about six months ago, and it's been a wakeup call to my body. I was blind in my belief that the "big name" gym was the way to go. Since training with Torey, I have managed to shed 25lbs in a half year. His classes incorporate strength training, endurance, and cardio fitness. He does this with new, fresh exercises every time. In a quick-paced, motivating environment, Torey challenges me beyond my comfort zone. My favorite part of his class is the punching bag work. I feel this is where I get my best cardio and endurance training – plus we get to take out some aggression on the bag.

Torey exceeded my expectations as a trainer. I stumbled across his gym through LivingSocial while looking for a local classes to take in Long Beach. While I was on the phone with him inquiring about the class schedule, he informed me about the personal training options he provides and set up an appointment to meet with him. From the first meeting, I had a hunch he would be a really good trainer.

He told me about his goals, he told me how he specialized in training women and how that's different from training men, and he took all my measurements to get started. I came to personal training with Torey for the goal of becoming lean, strong and toned. And he delivered. From the very first session, he pushed me to levels of fitness I never thought I could achieve.

Every session was something different. A new routine. No bells and whistles, just hard-core, creative training with a side of fantastic music. Just when you think you can't lift one more pound or do one more rep, Torey steps in and offers encouragement to get you to the next level. After a few months of diligent training with Torey, all my friends started noticing and complementing a more toned physique. At that moment, I knew it had all paid off. He is a great trainer, and if you're willing to take his his advice and put in the work, you will see results you want.

Without a doubt, Torey has changed my life for the better! When I decided to start making fitness a priority after having two children, I knew that he would be the one to help me. What I didn't expect was the outcome of surpassing my very own fitness goals from taking his classes and completing personal training sessions with him! Today, I'm in better shape than ever before and am still continuing to make progress.

Torey's Cardio Kick Fit classes not only incorporate an intense level of cardio, but also include core workouts and strength training; both crucial to losing weight and becoming fit! You will never be disappointed when you walk out of class; good music, great motivation, and his ability to vary the workouts on a daily basis are only some of the many high-quality skills he contains as a fitness instructor.
